Training Philosophy

We aim to pave the way for long, rewarding careers in Dental Medicine by following 3 major steps :

  • We will help each member doctor with a step-by-step complete treatment plan to guide them in their choices through the multiple contemporary treatment options available, while all participants will be invited to become familiar with a concept-to-a-brainstorming experience and to actively share and discuss their knowledge and expertise
  • The second step involves integrating theory into practice where the actual participation on models or patients takes place under the supervision of the trainer. Accordingly, a 4-handed chairside case management is required at this stage to insure an insight of the approved clinical procedures and materials.
  • During the final step of the training, the member doctor will be able to hold a full understanding of the role played by any given technique or treatment taught during their training and put that into practice on their own patients; this, however, does not exclude the presence of the trainer all along to insure proper guidance when needed during the first stages of a rigorous practical implementation.

These steps can be repeated to overcome difficulties in operative and surgical techniques until the member doctor is ready to deliver what they learned into their own practice.

This major principle of “companionship” helps in relating the practical delivery of their training and education in day-to-day practice, and thus, represents the baseline to help all members achieve the program goals and eventually, an optimal clinical outcome throughout different evidence based protocols followed during their training.
